git-arch software package provides fast, scalable, distributed revision control system (arch interoperability), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-arch
git-arch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-arch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-arch *
You will get with git-arch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
